St. Clair County’s varsity cheerleading squad won top honors at the county cheer competition last weekend.  

Allison Roberts, a St. Clair senior, received the contest’s top individual honor, the Farrah Seals Award, and sophomore Karli Buckner was named captain of the varsity All-County Squad.

Moody was runner-up in the varsity division and winner of the junior varsity division.  St. Clair was the JV runner up, with BreAnna Johnson of Ashville being named junior high All-County captain.

Named to the varsity All-County squad were Miss Buckner and Emeli Kimberly, St. Clair; Hannah Carter, Kim Farmer, Destiny Payne, Raven Williams, and Raven Weaver, Ashville; and Chelsea Dunaway and Abbey Medlin, Springville.

Receiving junior varsity All-County honors were Miss Johnson, Ashville; Maggie Jones, Hayley Staton, and Kaylyn Busenlehner, Springville; Anna Beth Hall and Lindsey Roberts, Moody; and Savannah Robertson and Erin Dorsett, Odenville.
