Last week, visiting Pell City Lady Panthers picked up their fourth win of the season by defeating host Pinson Valley 15-0 in four innings.

Senior Kelsey Farr set the pace in the first inning with a grand slam. The Lady Panthers combined for 10 hits including Ashley Robinson belting a three-run homer in the fourth inning. Sophomore hurler Allie Hall picked up another shut out, striking out eight out of twelve opponents while only allowing one walk. Picking up the loss for Pinson Valley was Danielle Scales.

Pell City 6, Spain Park 2

The Pell City Lady Panthers improved their record to 3-0 by defeating Spain Park at home.

Senior pitcher Morgan McClure recorded another win only giving up three hits through five innings while striking out seven out of 21 batters. Reliever Allie Hall pitched two innings, faced eight batters and struck out four.

Leading hitters for Pell City were Lexi Lawley, who went three for four with three RBIs. Christen Cook was two for two with one RBI and Kelsey Farr was two for three with one RBI
