The regular football season is over for many local teams, but the Pell City 95 pound Youth Football team will be heading to the championship.

It was the battle of the Blue Devils last Thurday night, and the Blue Devils of Mortimer Jordan came away with a 41 - 0 shut out of the Moody Blue Devils. The win and a Center Point loss clinched the region title for Mortimer Jordan.

The Center Point Eagles were too much for the Blue Devils as they handed Moody a 44-10 loss for the last regular season home game at Bill Morris Stadium until next season.

A dramatic goal line stand by the Moody defense was the ending to what was a great battle between the Springville Tigers and Moody Blue Devils last Friday night.

Terrance Moore’s 208 yards rushing and Joel McCormick’s 17 tackles help lead the Moody Blue Devils to a 41 - 20 blowout win over Shelby County last Friday Night.

The number two ranked and defending 5A State Champion Central Clay County Volunteers came into Moody and shut out the Blue Devils 34-0. Moody now focuses on Homecoming and a step out of region play with a visit from Shelby County.

The Moody Blue Devils takes a tough loss on the road in region play, losing at Sylacauga 36 - 6 last Friday night. The Blue Devils now have their mind focused on the defending 5A State Champion Central Clay County Volunteers tomorrow night.

Connor Rush and Terrence Moore combined for 433 yards rushing and three touchdowns in Moody’s 21 – 7 region win over St. Clair County. Moody now has their eyes set on a trip down highway 280 to face off against the Sylacauga Aggies.

The Moody Blue Devils season home opener did not go as planned thanks to a 43 – 13 loss to 5A power Etowah last Friday Night. The Blue Devils now have their eyes on archrival St. Clair County tomorrow night to open region play.

The Moody Blue Devils ended their two weeks of spring practice with a road trip across the bridge to Leeds for a Spring Game. The Blue Devils left with a 25 – 0 shutout over the Green Wave.

Just last week, Victory’s softball team pulled the area championship title over Heritage Christian. After winning all regular season area games, it was a historical first hosting of the tournament for Victory Christian School.
