- Ragland’s Lady Purple Devils will seek their third straight North Central Regional title this weekend at Liberty Park. Ranked at the top of Class 1A standings, the two-time defending state champions will face third-ranked South Lamar in the tournament’s opening game. St. Clair’s Lady Saints (28-19) will face eighth-ranked Hayleville in the Class 4A opener at 8 a.m. Friday. Having claimed the area 3A title, Leeds’ Lady Green Wave will play Sipsey Valley in the South Central Regional Tournament at Troy.
