Moody led 19-10 at the break against Tarrant and held on for a tight 36-34 win on Monday at home.

Heading into the fourth quarter, Moody held a nine-point lead that was soon cut to two with 55.4 seconds left in the game. After a Tarrant miss Moody’s Lea Crutchfield grabbed the rebound and got fouled, sending her to the line for a one-and-one free throw opportunity. Crutchfield nailed both free throws with 15.9 seconds remaining in the game to clinch the victory for the Lady Blue Devils.

Leading Moody was Alyson Tipton with 11 points, Crutchfield with eight and Caroline Clark with eight.
