The 4-H Summer Camp was held at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana on June 12-14.

A total of 40 campers, ranging in age from 9-13, attended. Ashville Middle, Margaret Elementary, Moody Middle, Odenville Intermediate, Odenville Middle, Springville Elementary, Springville Middle, Steele Junior High, and Williams Intermediate were all represented.

The campers experienced a lot of activities including rocketry, dance, archery, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing wall, giant swing, team building, and learned some survivor skills!

“A special thank you to our 4-H campers, Brooke Perry—4-H Camp Counselor in Training, and our four wonderful parent volunteers, Kebrina Reynolds (4th year camp volunteer), Lisa Gravlee, Chrystal St. John, and Ginny Northam,” said 4-H Agent Assistant Becky Staples.
