The Springville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted Grand Opening celebrations for three businesses.  These businesses have opened their doors in the community over the past couple of months and are part of what seems to be a business boom in the community.

The morning festivities began with Parkway Motors located at 8195 US Highway 11 near Springville High School.  You can find them on the web at parkwaymotorsinc.com.

“Parkway Motors is very excited to be a part of the Springville community.  We made a very difficult decision to close our previous location after twenty years.  We decided to relocate to Springville for a number of reasons, but the number one reason is the people,” said Robert DeRamus of Parkway Motors.  “We look forward to not only serving the community and the surrounding areas, but also getting involved in the community!  Come by and introduce yourself and check out our inventory.”

Located at 85 Purple Heart Boulevard in Springville, The Gulf Seafood has a new location where they have a large menu of seafood options.

Also open is the new Raising the Bar Health and Fitness, located at 5813 US Highway 11 in Springville.  They are a gym facility that offers gym membership for singles ($25/month), couples ($35/month) and additional family members (additional $10/month).  They also have tanning, childcare, bootcamp classes, and strength and conditioning classes.  Open 24/7, they give military, fire, police and senior discounts.  Call 205-452-2512 for details.

“We are so excited to help the people of this wonderful community achieve their health and fitness goals,” said Heather Smith of Raising the Bar Health and Fitness.  “We offer something for all individuals, no matter what their specific goals and abilities may be.  We are truly humbled by the support shown by everyone.  We love Springville and are blessed to be a part of this community.”

“We are very glad to see businesses continue to make their home in Springville,” said Mayor William Isley of Springville.  “These new retail and service offerings provide new ways our community can stay in Springville to live, work and play.”
