A new business has opened in Leeds with a unique concept. Rails & Ales is a family-friendly beer garden, offering a place for adults, as well as children and pets, to enjoy.
The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Leeds conducted a ribbon cutting last week at the new business located at 1210 6th Street. The owners, Cary Kennedy, Jamie Blair, Brian Richerzhagen, Shane St. John, and Chad Anderson, wanted to create a quaint indoor and outdoor space, “the perfect spot to enjoy beer, wine, music and food.”
Rails & Ales offers an assortment of craft beer and wine. They also have local music artists on Friday and Saturday. Food trucks from Miami Fusion, R & R BBQ, 900 Degrees Pizza, I Cantina and others are available on Friday and Saturdays as well. Cornhole, giant Jenga, and giant Connect 4 for kids, and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome on the patio and outdoor areas.
They are open Wednesday and Thursday 4 – 10 p.m., Friday 4 – 11 p.m., and Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. This week Eat Wicked will be serving from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday and Evan K will be performing from 8 – 11 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 9, Tamale Queen will be serving food from 5 – 8 p.m. and Trey Lewis and Terry Adams will be performing from 6 – 10 p.m.
