Hello everyone. Well, school is out for the summer. These last few months have been strange, but hope you had a chance to stay put and just rest some. Hope you are planning a safe and fun Memorial Day.

Thought for today: “If you wanna see the true character of person watch the way they treat someone who can’t do anything for them.” Kanye West

I had a great time this past Sunday. I visited my daughter, Annette and her family after church. My granddaughter, Kayla, and her new husband, Beaux Byrd were visiting for the weekend. Michael was celebrating the end of school riding on the wave runner with his friends. Then his friend, Caden Aldridge, came over to spend the night. We had a delicious lunch, my daughter Deborah called, and my sister Ann joined us later in the afternoon. We had a full house, but it was so much fun. Oh, and I got to eat a piece of Kayla and Beaux’s wedding cake they saved for me since I was unable to attend the wedding last weekend.

Congratulations to ALL graduating seniors. You have all made it through this step to your future, even though it has been an unusual year. You are awesome, unique and wonderful in your own way.

Victory Church and a few other churches in Pell City began in-person services on May 17. They took recommended precautions with a no-touch service, rows at 6 feet apart, and multiple hand sanitizer stations. They only had the worship services with no Children’s Church or Nursery just yet. Daughter, Annette and family attended and stated it was so good getting back to actually going to church. Others in the area will be opening back up soon. Mt.
