Forest "Gump" Amell
 
Forest "Gump" Amell, age 21, of Pell City, AL, passed away August 2nd. 
The family will receive friends Friday, August 24th from 1 p.m - 2 p.m at Kilgroe Funeral Home. 
Service for Mr. Amell will be Saturday, August 24th at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Chapel. Interment to follow at Pattons Chapel Cemetery , Lincoln, Alabama. He is survived by his parents Pam & Shawn Wood, Tommy & Tracey Amell. Grandparents, Carolyn & Raymond Youngblood, Mary Amell, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Mayfeild, Great-Grandmother, Betty Graham, Brother, Justin Amell, Step-Sister, Alissa Wood, 2 Nephews, Serveral Aunts & Uncles & Host of Friends. He is Preceded in death by his grandfather, Huston Graham. 2010 Graduate of Lincoln High School. Employed at Pell City Waffle House.

Ollie Johnson
 
Ollie Johnson, age 75, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at a private care facility following a period of declining health. Mrs. Johnson was born on August 23, 1937, in Leeds, Alabama; daughter of the late Olvin and Slety Elridge Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edgar Johnson and 14 siblings. Mrs. Johnson was an independent personal care giver. Above all, she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Johnson was of the Church of God faith. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Clarice and Jud Nichols, Clayton, Janet and Robert Ruledge, Conyers, Angie and Keith Whiten, Clarkesville, and Judy and Earl Johnson, Clayton; son and daughter-in-law, Buster and Donna Johnson, Tiger; sons, Daniel Johnson, Clayton, Dennis Johnson, Crossville, AL, Doug Johnson, Buford, and Wade Johnson, Dillard; sister, Jo Johnson, Loganville; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. James Turpen, Sr. and Rev. Richard Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
