Services for Armella Annastasia Struss, age 84, of WaKeeney, KS, were held Monday, June 7, 2010 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in WaKeeney, KS.
Mrs. Struss passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
Interment was in the WaKeeney City Cemetery in WaKeeney, KS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Struss and grandson, Kurt Struss.
Mrs. Struss is survived by her son, Kevin Struss (Julia) of WaKeeney, KS; daughters, Sherry Cook (Richard) of WaKeeney, KS, and Marguriet McFarling (Ronnie) of Leeds, AL; grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Tate Cook, Miles Cook (Amy), Cody Sandlin, Jodi Desair (Ron), Ryan Struss, Megan McFarling and Elizabeth McFarling, Brendan Karnes, Hayden Cook, Carson Cook, Treygan Desair, Addison Desair, Skylar Wittman and Connor Karnes; step-grandson, Spencer Harvey.
Mrs. Struss was born April 29, 1926 in Graham County, KS. She was the daughter of Wendeline and Eugenia (Riedel) Rome. She and Mr. Struss were married on March 7, 1945 in Demmig, New Mexico. Her occupation was a homemaker.
