Services for Mary Frances Bemis, age 70, of Ragland, Alabama were held Monday, June 21, 2010 at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City.
Mrs. Bemis passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010.
Interment was in the Pope’s Chapel Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin E. Bemis; daughters, Elizabeth McFarlane of Ragland, Linda Sansom of Pell City; son, Daniel (Geanette) Sansom of Ragland; sisters, Betty Holder of Ragland, and Vera Mae Bowman of Pell City; brothers, Gene Phillips, and Jack Phillips both of Moulton; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; special cousins, Ellen and Earline; several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Bemis was a member of the Baptist faith. She lived in Belle Glade, Florida for many years and moved back home to Ragland in 2000.
Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
