Services for Doris Golden Jackson, age 82, of Ashville, Alabama will be today, May 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of the Usrey Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Golden, Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Jackson passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010.
Interment will be in the Ragland United Methodist Cemetery, Ragland, AL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvele Jackson; son, Edward Jackson; two sisters, Rozell Snow and Peggy Crump; brother, Bob Golden, Sr.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her son, James Harvel Jackson; grandchildren, Darrell Jackson, Taylor Noel Jackson and Rion Tucker Jackson; one special great- grandson, Dalton Cole Jackson; brother, Jack Golden.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over fifty years at Ragland Chapter #150. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Ragland where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the quilting club with the Ragland senior citizens.
Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the services.
