Springville — Two local firefighters douse flames on one of two houses at Big Springs Park during a training exercise hosted by the Springville fire Department last Saturday. The event was a chance to better train first responders in entry of a burning building and proper techniques to be used to extinguish a fire. It also served as a way to clear the buildings from the property for Saturday’s Big Springs 5K and fun run.
